Oriental Cole Slaw
Ingredients
- 1# shredded cabbage
- 6 green onions
- 2 pkgs Ramen Oriental Noodles
- 4T sesame seeds
- 3/4 C slivered almonds
Dressing
4T Rice vinegar- 3/4 C salad oil
- 3T sugar
- 2 pkgs seasoning from the noodles
Method
- Heat oven to 350. Break up ramen noodles. Toast noodles, sesame seeds and slivered almonds on a cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes. Toss 1-2x's to get even browning. Remove and let cool completely then add to cabbage. Shake dressing well and pour over salad a couple of hours before serving.
Family note
This is a crowd favorite and Nannie makes it often, especially in the summer. Her tip is to double everything so you have enough to go around!
